Helm Trade

Your rules, guarded.
Your capital, on autopilot.

Helm Trade runs two services from one dashboard. RiskGuard holds your own trading to the limits you set, with a second person to approve anything riskier. Autopilot trades your account for you, and you follow every entry.

RiskGuard

Limits you can't loosen on a bad day.

RiskGuard runs on Helm's server beside your trading account. It checks every trade you place, from your phone or your desktop, and closes what breaks your rules. There's no off switch on your desk.

Daily loss lockout

Set it in money or as a % of the day's starting balance. Hit it and everything closes for the day. It can count open trades, and trail up to lock in the day's gains.

Daily profit target

Reach it and RiskGuard closes everything and stops trading for the day.

Trades a day

Cap the trades you place by hand. The next one past the cap is closed on sight.

Position size

A biggest single position, and a limit on the total lots open in one direction.

Trading windows

Up to three windows a day, each with its own size limits. Outside them, new entries are closed.

Stops on every trade

Bare trades get a stop loss and take profit. A stop you set by hand is checked against the most money you allow at risk.

One symbol

Trade only the chart's symbol. A trade on anything else is closed on sight.

Entry spacing

A minimum distance between entries in the same direction, so you can't stack into a move.

Prop firm accounts

Your firm's rules, held at your own line.

A funded account can be lost in one afternoon. Set each RiskGuard limit a little inside your firm's, and RiskGuard acts at your line, which sits inside theirs.

RiskGuard works on your trading account and doesn't connect to the firm. Fast markets and gaps can move past a limit before a trade closes. Check that your firm allows a risk-management EA.

Guardian · multi-person policies

Two keys for anything riskier.

On a bad day, the person most likely to loosen your limits is you. Give the account a guardian: tightening a limit still applies at once, and anything riskier waits for a second person.

  • Second-person approvalRaising a limit or switching a rule off waits for your guardian's yes. Nobody approves their own request, and requests expire after 7 days.
  • Cooling periodWhen a limit fires, riskier changes are refused for 1 to 72 hours. Safer ones never wait.
  • Notices that can't be mutedYour guardian hears about every settings change and command, on every channel they use.
  • Members with their own accessAdd a co-owner, guardian, accountant or viewer. Every change to who's on the account needs every manager's approval.
  • Signed instructionsEvery change is digitally signed. The trading server refuses anything unsigned or altered.

Change RiskGuard's settings

Each change is marked safer or riskier the way RiskGuard itself declares it: lower limits and fewer trading hours are safer.

Progression

Grow in stages. Bank as you go.

Progression splits growth into stages, each with a target. When the account reaches one, new trades stop until the agreed amount has been withdrawn to you, then trading resumes by itself.

  • Open trades run to their own exit when a target is reached.
  • Your dashboard shows each stage: Trading, Withdrawal due, Resuming or Stage finished.
  • A finished stage stays stopped until every manager agrees the next one.

Autopilot · for investors

Hands-off. Every entry in plain sight.

An automated trading program trades your account. You don't place trades or manage settings. You follow your account value, every closed trade and your statements, and withdraw when you like.

  1. Helm sets you upHelm opens your dashboard and connects the trading program to your account. You get an emailed link to sign in.
  2. It trades, you followClosed trades post to your statement with a running balance. Choose bell, push or email for what matters to you.
  3. Profit is split 50 / 50By default you keep half of new profit; the split is different for different account sizes. Helm's share is taken only on profit above your high-water mark.
  4. Withdraw any timeYour capital isn't locked. Request any amount up to all of it, whenever you like.

The high-water mark, explained.

Your high-water mark is the account value Helm's share is measured from. Helm takes its share (50% by default) only of profit above it. Below it, Helm takes nothing.

It resets in two moments. When Helm collects its share each week, the account value after that payout becomes your new mark. When you withdraw profit, the account value after your withdrawal becomes the new mark.

A dip carries no fee on the way back. If the account falls below the mark, climbing back up to it costs you nothing.

50 / 50 is the default split. It's different for different account sizes, so ask us for the split on yours.
